There is an expression that the church is always one generation away from extinction if today’s youth don’t take up responsibility and become the leaders of tomorrow.
Jubilee Malayalam Church Youth Fellowship is a pool of young committed individuals who have come together with the common purpose of serving God and working for HIS glory, along with a thirst to learn more about the Saviour. Right from teenagers to people in their early thirties, all form a strong pillar for the youth group in their own distinctive way.
Jubilee Malayalam Church Youth Fellowship consists of members who have come from different vocations of lives and this truly adds to the working of the group. This helps everyone to become an important brick in the pillar of God’s ministry and for doing his work.
Monthly Activities:
Youth Bible Study – Specific portions of the Bible are read during the session. The session is conducted by the Presbyter of the Church or the Youth Coordinator. Sessions are conducted on the 1st Sunday of every month from 09:30 am – 10:30 am.
Youth Discussion Meetings – Concern areas pertaining to youth are raised and discussed among the youth members. Biblical solutions are introduced by the chairperson of the meeting to tackle the problems and move ahead in a spiritual way. The meeting is conducted on the 3rd Sunday of every month from 09:30 am to 10:30 am. These discussions and their solutions will be taken up after the church service on the 4th Sunday of every week to acknowledge the perspective of the seniors in the Church.
Periodic Activities – Regular initiatives are taken up by the Youth members of the church pertaining to social causes including visiting and supporting of Orphanages and Old Age homes. Youth members also contribute towards the operational activities of the church including organizing Sports Day, Food Stall, preparing a calendar that includes birthdays and wedding anniversaries of all the members of the church.
