Jubilee Malayalam Church (CNI) Womens Fellowship is a team of 80 dedicated members both from Sanpada Church and the Panvel Workshiping Centre.
Brief History
Before the dedication of Jubilee Church at Sanpada in 2001,the Church was worshiping in St Marys School Hall at Vashi,Navi Mumbai. The Women's Fellowship monthly meetings used to be held in the homes of members under the leadership of the Parish Priest.Womens Fellowship activities are blessing for those who attend.
Good Christian homes are built by prayerful women.
Monthly meetings
We meet on every second Saturday at 4.30 pm in the Church led by our Parish Priest. We begin with Praise and Worship followed by intercessory prayers when we pray for the various needs of the Church and its members. Then our Achen takes continous Bible classes.In Panvel ,the Women's Fellowship are held in the Church after the Divine Service or in the homes of its members.
Activities
1) We organize Bible based competitions and games
2) We participate in the Annual Union Women's Fellowship Retreats
3) We actively participate in the worship service on Women's Sunday which falls in March
4) During the Harvest Festival, the Womens Fellowship members co-operate and participate in the preparation of fish pickles and food items for sale.
Visits
Occasionally ,we conduct Womens Fellowship meetings in the homes of members as per their needs and requests. Our Achen and Kochamma along with some of the Womens Fellowship members visit the homes of sick and elderly people and pray for them. Also we visit charitable institutions when such visits are organized by our Church.
